Jack's newborn photos

We had Jack's newborn pictures taken when he was about 2 weeks old.   Nate Luke Photography is who we used.   Rob did some "modeling" for him a while back for a recycling advertisement.

I LOVED how the pictures turned out.   Here are a few of my favorites out of many:

I'm growing!!

Before Jack was born, I got these great stickers to put on onesies every month to show his age.

Here are his first three months - he is already changing so fast!

3 months - He eats cereal now and loves it in the evenings.  He sleeps all night.  He rolls over from his stomach to back and almost can roll the opposite way.   He loves to talk  - ALL the time :)   He tries to scoot on his back and stomach.  He cannot wait to be moving.  We may have our hands full when he can really walk and talk!   He's a very happy baby and his smile will just melt your heart :)

Late Post - BIRTHDAYS!

In January, we all got together to celebrate Rob's birthday.  February was the month to celebrate Mom's, mine and Lindsay's.

Look at all of those candles!

Late Post - Valentine's Day

I woke up Valentine's Day, went into Jack's room and found that he had decorated for me!   He had a present for me on his changing table and wrote me a sweet note!

I was so impressed.  He obviously gets his romantic side from his dad :)

Yes - be impressed that our son can already write!

Jack's 1st snow!

We haven't had a lot so we thought we better get a picture of it.  Here is Jack and Daddy in matching hats I made them for Rob's birthday.  This was the little bit of snow we got in January.

We are moving!

Jack's getting a new house!

Rob and I are in the process of closing on a house in Marshfield.    Our goal is to be in it by the end of February.  We have to be out of our current house by 2/29 so I hope we get this one closed before then!  It is a foreclosure his mom found us.  Even though it is in town, it sits on 2.5 acres and is at the end of a cul-de-sac.  It is all brick with a walkout basement and storm shelter (or what I like to call my wine cellar).

We took it as a sign to move when we sold our house the same day we bought this one!  We told our neighbor we were going to list it, she showed it and bought it for her granddaughter the same day!

I'll post more pics after we get in and do a little work/personal touches :)

JACK HAS ARRIVED!!!

I am so late getting these posts up!  I had huge aspirations of staying updated while on maternity leave.   As you can see - that did not happen.   But I am able to find time to update at work :)

John Jackson Foster - Jack - arrived on 12/11/2011 at 8:07 am via C-section after we tried for almost 32 hours - I won't go into those details - I don't want to frighten anyone from having children!   He arrived in the world weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces.   And as you can see - he was perfect from the beginning :)

In the last picture, you'll see my upper lip busted.   That's because I decided to fall on the 9th - the day we went to be induced - and bust my lip open.  So I spent the day in the ER getting stitched up and monitored - only to return later in the day to be induced :)

Holding Daddy's hand

Thanks Dr. Stanczyk!

I finally get to meet him!
