Remember when my wonderful husband surprised me with tickets on Valentine's Day to see Zac Brown Band?? That concert is this Friday.
Now guess what he surprised me with............................................................................we get to eat fried chicken with the band before the concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm SOOOOO excited. I'm sure they'll ask me to sing a few numbers with them during the concert. Don't worry - I know all the words - I practice in the car to Rob all the time.
Don't worry - I'll have plenty of pictures to show off.
So who is the best husband in the world??? This guy:
(Picture from last weekend - Rob had to model for a photo shoot on recycling and fishing that I had signed him up for as a pleasant surprise)

Grandma
This is a happy and sad post at the same time. My grandma Sweaney passed away on Monday the 28th. We knew it was coming but you never fully prepare yourself. I know she did not suffer and is in a better place now - visiting with family and grandpa - waiting on the rest of us to join her.
Yesterday was her funeral. It was great to see so many family and friends turn out to remember her. I got to visit with cousins I haven't seen in years. Sad that it had to be under those circumstances.
I have so many memories with my grandma and grandpa. We spent so much time at their house growing up. I feel very blessed to have had my grandparents in my life as long as I did. I'm glad Grandma was able to see me get married - something she asked me about a lot!
Thought I'd share some great pictures of her in remembrance............
Here is Grandma with some cousins - she is in the chair
Here is Grandma when she was 15 years old
Here is Grandma with her two sisters - Betty and Pansy - Grandma is on the left
Here is Grandpa and Grandma in 1952 in New Mexico
Here is Grandpa and Grandma at Bennett Springs State Park
4 generations - my great grandmother Nannie, Grandma, Mom and me
Here I am with my grandparents when I was about a year old
